Our Sunday School preschool class will begin today, students will also move to new grades. There will be some changes in our classroom arrangements; David Christensen will help get students to their correct rooms.
Good Old Lutheran Fellowship today, a benefit for our Active Christian Teens. To carpool, meet at church at 1:00 or be at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Sutton by 2:00. Price per person is $28.00. A light lunch will follow for and additional $2.00. All are invited, this is for fun, no great skills required!
Thank you so much for the gifts. You have been a blessing to us over the years and have enriched our lives. We will miss the interaction with the youth of our congregation. An Ingathering for NE District South LWML Convention will be collected from the totes in the church entryway on September 20. Items you may furnish are listed in your newsletter; the items will be delivered to those in need by Orphan Grain Train. You may also donate by check written to Nebraska District South LWML and placed in Arlene Vorce’s mailbox. Enjoy giving and thank you!
Men, Women, and Children get ready for the LWML fall bazaar will be held October 3! The Grand Island Orphan Grain Train will be serving a Fish Boil Dinner immediately following Sunday School and Bible Class. The Bazaar will begin at the same time. Donations may be brought starting Sunday, Sept. 26. Please leave the items in the south classroom (office). We are looking for craft items, baked goods, “gently used” items. Unsold craft items may taken home, “gently used” items will be taken to Grain Train. Proceeds will go to the Orphan Grain Train.
